MoneyBook KH Privacy Policy

MoneyBook KH is a bookkeeping application developed by MyAppKH. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the MoneyBook KH mobile application.

1. How MoneyBook KH Handles Your Data

MoneyBook KH is designed as an offline-first application.

You do not need to create a MoneyBook KH or MyAppKH account to use the app.

The bookkeeping information you enter into MoneyBook KH is stored locally on your device. MoneyBook KH does not provide a MyAppKH cloud account or online database for storing your bookkeeping records.

MoneyBook KH does not automatically upload your sales, expenses, receipts or business records to the MyAppKH website.

2. Information You Can Store in the App

Depending on how you use MoneyBook KH, information stored locally on your device may include:

  • Sales amounts
  • Expense amounts
  • Transaction dates
  • Payment methods, such as Cash, KHQR, Bank Transfer or Other
  • Transaction notes
  • Currency information
  • USD/KHR exchange rates
  • Receipt or payment-proof images
  • Business name
  • Owner or contact name
  • Optional business logo
  • Language and application preferences
  • Security settings

MoneyBook KH uses this information to provide its bookkeeping, reporting and display features.

3. Sales, Expenses and Financial Records

Sales and expense records are stored in MoneyBook KH’s local application database on your device.

These records may contain information such as the amount, currency, date, payment method, exchange rate and any optional note you enter.

MoneyBook KH uses this information locally to calculate totals, sales, expenses, profit and reports.

Your bookkeeping records are not automatically sent to MyAppKH.

4. Receipt Images and Business Logo

MoneyBook KH allows you to select images from your device for features such as:

  • Attaching a receipt or payment-proof image to a sale
  • Attaching a receipt image to an expense
  • Adding an optional business logo

These images are used by the MoneyBook KH application on your device.

MoneyBook KH does not upload these images to MyAppKH or to the MyAppKH website.

The application may use your device’s image-selection functionality when you choose to add an image.

5. Business Profile

MoneyBook KH includes an optional Business Profile.

You may choose to enter:

  • Your business name
  • An owner or contact name
  • A business logo

This information is stored locally by the application and may be displayed within MoneyBook KH or included in supported reports that you generate.

Providing business-profile information is optional.

6. Reports, Files and Sharing

MoneyBook KH can generate bookkeeping reports in formats including PDF and other supported export formats.

These reports are generated from information stored in the app.

MoneyBook KH may temporarily create an exported file within the application’s local storage so that you can save or share it.

A report is only sent to another application or service when you choose to save or share it.

For example, if you choose to share a report using email, messaging, cloud storage or another application, the selected third-party application will receive the file. The privacy practices of that third party will then apply to the information you choose to share.

MyAppKH does not automatically receive copies of your exported reports.

7. PIN Protection

MoneyBook KH provides optional PIN protection.

PIN-related information used to operate the app lock is stored locally on the device. It is not transmitted to MyAppKH.

You are responsible for remembering and protecting any PIN you configure.

8. Biometric Authentication

MoneyBook KH can use biometric authentication supported by your device, such as fingerprint or other device authentication methods, to help protect access to the application.

Biometric verification is handled by your device’s operating system.

MoneyBook KH does not receive, store or transmit your fingerprint, facial image or other raw biometric information.

The application receives only the result needed to determine whether device authentication succeeded.

9. Home-Screen Widget

MoneyBook KH includes an optional Android home-screen widget.

The widget can display MoneyBook KH information and provide shortcuts to app features.

The widget works with information stored by MoneyBook KH on your device. Using the widget does not upload your bookkeeping records to MyAppKH.

10. Analytics, Advertising and Tracking

MoneyBook KH v1.0.0 does not contain advertising.

MoneyBook KH does not require advertising identifiers for its bookkeeping functionality.

MoneyBook KH v1.0.0 does not intentionally use analytics or behavioural tracking to send your bookkeeping activity to MyAppKH.

11. Internet Connection

The core MoneyBook KH bookkeeping features are designed to work without an internet connection.

An internet connection may be used by the device or another application when you choose to share an exported file or use an external service, but MoneyBook KH does not require a MyAppKH server connection for storing your normal bookkeeping records.

12. Data Retention

Your MoneyBook KH data remains stored locally on your device for as long as it remains in the application.

You can remove individual information using the application’s available delete functions.

Application data may also be removed by:

  • Clearing MoneyBook KH’s application data through your device settings
  • Uninstalling MoneyBook KH
  • Deleting locally created or exported files

Because MyAppKH does not maintain an online MoneyBook KH account containing your bookkeeping records, MyAppKH cannot remotely recover or delete records that exist only on your device.

13. Data Backup

MoneyBook KH does not currently provide a MyAppKH cloud-backup service for your bookkeeping database.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of your device and any reports or files you choose to export.

Uninstalling the application, clearing application data, losing the device or certain device failures may result in the loss of locally stored information.

14. Children’s Privacy

MoneyBook KH is a general bookkeeping application intended for people managing financial or business records.

The application is not specifically designed or directed at children.

15. Third-Party Device Services

MoneyBook KH uses standard device and operating-system functionality to provide features including:

  • Image selection
  • Local file storage
  • File sharing
  • PDF/report generation
  • Biometric authentication
  • Secure local storage

When you deliberately send information from MoneyBook KH to another application or service, the privacy policy of that application or service may apply.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

MyAppKH may update this Privacy Policy if MoneyBook KH’s features or data-handling practices change.

When the policy is updated, the revised version will be published on this page and the “Last updated” date will be changed.
